"We worked very hard to make our wedding a truly unique day, very indicative of who we are, and the joys and fun that make up our relationship. Jeanette did a beyond-fabulous job of tailoring our cake to our day! We'd seen a picture of what we wanted, and she re-created that for us, adding special touches to match the special touches we'd put on our day, right down to creme-colored pearls on our cake (rather than white) to match the pearls my husband gave me! Our cake was truly just "our" cake! But not only was it beautiful, it was delicious as well! We were both in our early 40's when we got married, and our friends and families are veterans of weddings and receptions! I am not sure there wasn't one person in attendance who at one time or another has not mentioned to us that our cake was the best they'd ever tasted! Even a year later when we took our cake top out of the freezer to eat on our first anniversary - it tasted almost as good as our wedding day!
